Isabelle Caro (1982-2010)

"The mother of Isabelle Caro, the anorexic French model who died last year, has committed suicide.
Marie Caro, whose daughter made headlines around the world after a picture of her gaunt naked body appeared in a shocking ad campaign, took her own life earlier this month after being consumed with 'enormous guilt'.
Isabelle died at the age of 28 in a French hospital on November 17 after she was admitted for severe dehydration...."

very tragic, my heart is saddened by this news.
I read about this from another blogger today as well and my heart breaks for the entire family affected by this devestating disease. Your work is so very important and I implore that you continue with all the strength and vigor you can muster within. Much love and grace to you and for your efforts.
This tragedy keeps perpetuating itself... like ripples in a pond. I know Isabelle was quite forthcoming explaining her mother's part (as she saw it) contributing to her anorexia.
It's just so desperately sad.
This absolutely breaks my heart.
Really makes me think of how it could effect my family if I were to give up the fight and let my own problem consume me. Thank you Medusa, for your blog. I'm positive it has been an eye opener and a push towards recovery for many, myself included.
