I started reading your blog yesterday, AFTER I had already signed up for the 10 reasons newsletter. I received the newsletter just now, and she tells me that I can join for a one time payment of $79.95. What happened to the lower price I wonder??? Could it be someone is trying to cash in all that she can before she is shut down??? I am a co-leader of a weight loss group. We meet tonight and I am signed up to do the program this evening. It will be titled "Stay away from this trap!", starring Heidi Diaz. (bolding mine)

Linda, you're a great sleuth! Thanks so much for raising the red flag about this latest chapter in the saga of the deadly Kimkins diet and its fraudulent founder, Heidi Diaz/Kimmer.
Check out Mariasol's blog for her take on this latest Kimkins price increase:

wonder how many affiliates she will get just to save $20 on a starvation diet!!
Excellent point, Kat! Thanks for your comment.
WTF? All this trouble she's in, and she has the cajones to BUMP UP THE PRICE????
No matter. All the more rope to hang herself with...
dang that is 33% inflation for just a months time
Kimkins.com and Kimmer need to be stopped bfore any one else becomes a page on http://kimkinssurvivors.wordpress.com/
please if you bought a membership join the lawsuit http://kimkinslawsuit.wordpress.com/2007/11/15/download-the-affidavit-or-declaration-form/
When her site is closed down, she'll have to refund those people their $79.95. She won't be able to collect the money she paid the affiliates. She's losing money with every person who signs up under the affiliate program she's promoting. Tee hee! Unfortunately, the people who are awarded refunds in the class action suit will have their refunds reduced by a percentage for the lawyers.
It's just bad news for everyone. I wish people would be too smart for her! At least fewer will sign up at $79 than $59. PTL!
I bet that sign is from Hell, Michigan. Baby it's cold up there!
OYB
Stop the fraud! Kimkins members may join the Kimkins lawsuit. Here is a video that explains how easy it is to join the Kimkins lawsuit.
I really don't know why Heidi isn't in jail yet. What are they waiting for? She admitted to her fraud in her depo. Isn't that enough? I took a break from reading what was going on because I just get more and more pissed off about it. I can't stand her. I guess she is feeling that she needed to raise prices because shes not making enough to cover her living expenses anymore. I sure hope she is still not collecting disability anymore. Because she has a high paying job. Did anyone report that to them so she can't get assistance anymore? I am so mad at this. She needs to be in jail already.
v0xhumana, word!
2big, Heidi doesn't care about inflation...just lining her pockets with gold.
OYB, great points! It is bad news for everyone. And yes, that sign is from Hell, Michigan, though Heidi provides her members with her own version of Hell,
Anonymous, your frustration is felt by everyone involved in the cause to bring down Heidi Diaz and Kimkins. If only the federal authorities would move on this case fast before more people are taken in by her scam. The wheels of justice are turning too slowly for my liking. Unfortunately, she will not serve jail time if she loses the civil class-action suit. Heidi Diaz/Kimmer has been reported to the proper authorities re her collection of disability payments. Hopefully, in the very near future Heidi's house of cards will come tumbling down. I guess we all need a good dose of patience but it's so frustrating, in the meantime, that she continues to perpetrate her fraud.
Thanks everyone so much for your comments. I really appreciate hearing from you all.
